Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancelling

• You can cancel at any time. There is no lock-in period, no notice period and no cancellation fee.
• Cancelling stops all future billing immediately.
• Your membership stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. You do not lose access the moment you cancel.
• To cancel, use the cancellation option in your account settings, or email info@mystrokepath.com. Either is enough, and we will confirm it in writing.

Your first 7 days

The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act gives you the right to cancel an online purchase within 7 days of the transaction, without giving a reason and without penalty, by telling us in writing. Email is enough. Clause 7.2 of the Terms explains how that right applies to a StrokePath membership, including that the paid features start the moment you use them and that the Act does not cover every case. Where the right applies, we refund the payment in full.

That is a right the law gives you, and this policy does not add a refund beyond it. Otherwise, subscription fees are not refundable except where the law requires it, as clause 7.3 of the Terms says.

Ongoing monthly payments

• Monthly fees pay for access during that month. Once a month has started, that month is non-refundable.
• We do not give part-month refunds. If you cancel mid-month you keep access until the month you paid for ends.

Memberships activated with a partner code

Where a membership was activated with a referral code from a partner organisation, the same cancellation and refund terms apply to whatever you paid. Where a partner or a fund covered the cost rather than you, there is nothing for us to refund to you, and we will tell you who to speak to.

Billing errors

If you are charged the wrong amount, charged twice, or charged after cancelling because of an error on our side, we refund the incorrect amount in full. Tell us and we will fix it without argument.

How to request a refund

Email info@mystrokepath.com with the name on the account, the date of the payment, and what you would like us to do. We respond within 2 to 3 business days. If we cannot approve a request, we will tell you why rather than simply declining it.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Paystack and/or such other payment service provider as we may appoint from time to time, normally within 7 to 10 business days of approval. The exact timing after that depends on your bank.

All amounts are refunded in South African Rand (ZAR), the currency they were charged in.

Your rights in law

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, or any other South African law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law applies.
